Havva Melek Topsakal
Born in 1995 in Trabzon, Havva Melek Topsakal graduated from 19 Mayıs University, Faculty of Yaşar Doğu Sports Sciences. She began climbing in 2015 as part of her university mountaineering club. During her university years, she was actively involved in mountain biking, sport climbing, slackline, and highline, achieving inter-university awards in mountain biking.
Since 2019, Topsakal has been working as a climbing coach. She is a Level 2 Sport Climbing Coach and a licensed route setter. She has also worked under contract with the Turkish Mountaineering Federation as a coach at the Trabzon Athlete Training Center (SEM).
As one of the founding partners of Zone Climbing, established in July 2025, Topsakal continues to coach actively and train new athletes.
Kemal Alper Yavru
Kemal Alper, a graduate of Hacettepe University in Economics, began climbing in 2009 with the Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ) Mountaineering Club. In 2015, he established one of Turkey's first private climbing gyms in Ankara, where he served for five years as head route setter and coach, working directly with hundreds of climbers and impacting many more indirectly.
In 2021, Alper started training athletes in Trabzon and was part of the founding team of Beta Climbing Sports Club, one of Turkey's first clubs with "sport climbing" in its name. Since summer 2025, he has continued his coaching and route-setting career at Zone Climbing Gym.
Enes Berk Kargı
Enes Berk Kargı was born in 1994 in Trabzon and graduated from Karadeniz Technical University with a degree in Economics. He began climbing in 2014 as a member of his university mountaineering club and remains actively involved in mountaineering, skiing, and sport climbing.
Since 2017, Kargı has worked as a sport climbing coach, and since 2018, he has served as a sport climbing judge at national competitions. He has completed route-setting and Level 2 coaching certifications.
He currently works as a sport climbing coach with the Trabzon Directorate of Youth and Sports and at Zone Climbing.
